Detailed Features:

  • Easy to implement: First things first, you can enjoy this application after installing it on your computer, a process that can be achieved in two ways: either use the proprietary installation package, or trust the Arturia Software Center. Either way, it’s not rocket science. During installation, you will be asked to select which components you want to implement, whether you prefer to use this tool on its own or integrate it into a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation).
  • Very intuitive interface: If you’ve ever played a keyboard, let alone one made by Yamaha, the DX7 V’s interface will feel very familiar and you’ll get to know all of its controls in no time, especially if you’re a foodie. The presets can be accessed even more easily by clicking the “All Types” button at the top of the screen or by searching using the most relevant keywords.
  • It has MIDI support: Although you can still use your boring mouse to click each key separately or adjust the knobs or whatever you want to do with it, it is much more rewarding to use a MIDI controller as most of the actions will appear even more natural. You just need to connect the MIDI controller to your computer, click on the MIDI symbol in the upper right corner of the screen, and go crazy.
  • Awesome Yamaha DX7 Emulator: All in all, if you’ve ever wanted to own a Yamaha DX7 synthesizer that you can integrate into your projects, the DX7 V is exactly what you’re looking for. The download includes Plugin Boutique’s free Zampler sample player for Win/Mac, but unfortunately it’s 32-bit only.
